Former Gallery Luscombe I founded and ran a gallery in the Mission District of San Francisco called Gallery Luscombe. In 1996, I found a great storefront on 24th Street in the Mission
District and with the help of architect, Robert Chisholm, added skylights
and transformed it into a gorgeous, light-filled gallery space. From 1997
on, I showed my own artwork and the artwork of others. I loved curating
shows and the excitement of unveiling new art pieces to the world. What
I chose to have in the gallery became an art in itself and each show took
on a life form of its own. I eventually discovered that I didnt
want to make a career out of selling other peoples art. I wouldnt
have changed my experience with the gallery for the world, though. I had
a phenomenal time.
