Former Gallery Luscombe
3040 24th St., San Francisco, CA

I founded and ran a gallery in the Mission District of San Francisco called Gallery Luscombe.

In 1996, I found a great storefront on 24th Street in the Mission District and with the help of architect, Robert Chisholm, added skylights and transformed it into a gorgeous, light-filled gallery space. From 1997 on, I showed my own artwork and the artwork of others. I loved curating shows and the excitement of unveiling new art pieces to the world. What I chose to have in the gallery became an art in itself and each show took on a life form of its own. I eventually discovered that I didn’t want to make a career out of selling other peoples’ art. I wouldn’t have changed my experience with the gallery for the world, though. I had a phenomenal time.

Gallery Luscombe continues in Ojai as a showcase for my artwork, with occasional Artists' Salons or individual guest artists exhibiting or performing.
